Intafil Combi Setup

Inta’s new Intafil Combi takes the sealed system kit a step further, cutting out components, pipework and potentially 15 to 20 minutes of installation time.

Inta has launched Intafil Combi, a new patent-pending sealed system kit designed to take unnecessary work out of the job.

The clue came from what installers were already doing on site: adding drain valves, isolation valves and extra fittings around expansion vessels, often in cramped airing cupboards and plant spaces.

Intafil Combi brings that functionality together in one compact monoblock.

Inta’s own installation assessments estimate it can save 15 to 20 minutes of on-site assembly time and eliminate up to four unnecessary joints.

Darran Bougourd, MD of Inta said: “When good installers keep buying extra valves and fittings and building the same sort of arrangement themselves, you’d be daft not to listen.

“They’re telling you what they need.

“So we asked a simple question: what can we take out of the job?

“The answer is one connection in and one connection out. Less to put together, fewer joints and 15 or 20 minutes the installer can spend somewhere else.

“It’s quicker, it’s neater and there’s less faff.”

Intafil Combi combines the filling loop, pressure gauge, expansion vessel isolation and drain in one assembly, with a direct 22mm connection to the heating circuit, G¾ swivel connection to the expansion vessel and 360-degree rotatable drain-off.

And the benefits continue after installation.

The expansion vessel can be isolated independently and emptied through the integrated drain valve, avoiding the need to drain down the complete heating system when it eventually needs servicing or replacement.

An optional G½ connection allows a safety relief valve to be added, while the anti-tamper arrangement helps prevent accidental isolation during normal operation.

Intafil Combi can also be used on air source heat pump installations, where the same sealed-system principles apply, giving installers the same compact approach across both boiler and heat pump systems.

Darran added: “The sealed system kit was a brilliant development because it made the job simpler. Intafil Combi takes that principle further.

“We think once installers have used one, they won’t want to go back. But if they want to keep fitting conventional sealed system kits, that’s fine; we’ll keep selling those too.

“We just think we’ve found a better way.”

Intafil Combi is available with or without a mounting bracket and with or without a safety relief valve.
