Communications. Delivered properly.
Reeves clients appearing live on the sofa on ITV’s This Morning.
Reeves is a strategic communications and public relations consultancy working across the UK, with offices in Birmingham and Newcastle upon Tyne. Since 2009, we've helped organisations communicate with clarity, credibility and judgement - particularly when scrutiny increases or stakes matter most.
What we do
We deliver strategic communications through defined projects or ongoing retained counsel. Press office, crisis communications, social media management, content creation and video production work as one coherent function, not separate services.
Our experience spans education and multi-academy trusts, built environment and construction, manufacturing and engineering, public sector bodies, healthcare, and hospitality. We operate nationally with proven capability across Europe.
Client relationships typically span years, often decades. That longevity comes from understanding what matters and delivering consistently.
Press office and media handling
Press office work drives the consultancy.
We handle media enquiries, announcements and reactive issues with pace and accuracy, supported by established relationships across national, regional and trade media. Our account handlers bring journalism backgrounds - newsroom experience or formal training - which shapes how we judge newsworthiness and story placement.
When situations escalate, crisis communications support focuses on positioning and proportion. We've guided organisations through regulatory investigations, high-profile incidents and reputational challenges. The approach remains consistent: careful judgement, disciplined messaging, senior counsel.
Content, design and video
Clear communications depend on consistent, well-produced materials.
We produce written content, creative design and video as part of wider communications delivery, not just as standalone services. Our in-house video team creates explainers, interviews, case studies and place-based content, including licensed drone footage where appropriate.
All production work is grounded in clarity and real-world use. Have a look at our showreel below.
Social media
Social media is treated as a reputational channel, not a content exercise.
Planning, channel management and day-to-day posting ensure tone and messaging remain aligned with wider communications, reinforcing press office activity and maintaining a consistent public presence.
How we help
Good communications rarely come from doing more. They come from knowing what matters and handling it well.
Support often begins with a specific piece of work. Where it makes sense, that develops into ongoing cover. In many cases, Reeves acts as the communications function, advising senior teams and taking responsibility for delivery without adding unnecessary process.

This is some of our favourite work from the worlds of automotive, retail, hospitality, construction, manufacturing, local government, education, transport, place, motorsport and healthcare.
The Consultancy.
Founded for the long term
Established in 2009, we operate from Birmingham's business district and Newcastle's creative quarter. Our senior team combines national agency experience with deep regional knowledge and established media relationships.
Leadership
Reeves was founded by Clive Reeves, who brings over four decades of strategic communications experience to client work. As Deputy Lieutenant of the West Midlands and advisor to Newcastle City Council, Clive ensures the consultancy maintains strong civic and business connections across both regions.
Direct relationships
We work directly with senior teams. No account managers between you and senior expertise. No surprises on quality or costs. When you need counsel, you get it from people who understand the stakes and delivery from a team that is confident and experienced in what they do.
How does it feel to work with us?
Clients work with Reeves because they trust us to handle communications with care, judgement and discretion.
We build close working relationships, understand context quickly and know when to lean in and when to keep things simple. Confidentiality is assumed. Confidence is earned. Connection matters.
When the fit is right, the work is clear, effective and genuinely collaborative.
Reeves. Navigating the narrative.
Sector Expertise
Reeves works in a small number of sectors and knows them properly. We understand the regulation, the market, the trade press and the arguments the sector is currently having, so clients don't spend the first three meetings translating their world for us. We can get on with the more useful part: finding the story that is actually worth telling, and doing something useful with it.

Education and multi-academy trusts
Reeves has particular depth in education, including multi-academy trusts and independent schools.
In this context, we often act as the communications function. That means advising trust and school leadership, coordinating activity across multiple schools, and managing communications without the need for constant oversight. Press office and public relations support, content production and day-to-day delivery, so that senior teams can focus on running their organisations.
Education communications is not corporate communications with a school badge on it. Parents, staff, pupils, governors, the local community and the local press all have a legitimate interest, and they rarely want to hear the same thing in the same way.
Built environment
Reeves has worked across most of the built environment, from building products and manufacturing to construction, infrastructure, property development and regeneration.
That work usually involves more than announcing a project. Development attracts attention, and stakeholders rarely agree with each other. Clients, residents, planners, politicians, the trade press and the local media all have a view, and the communications has to hold up in front of all of them. We handle messaging, press office, campaigns, technical content and film, and we understand the sector well enough not to need it explained first.
