Installers’ frustrations answered as Inta launches high-performance heat pump filter

Leading heating and plumbing manufacturer, Intatec, has introduced a new heat pump filter, engineered in direct response to installer frustrations over pressure drops in heating systems. The IntaKlean Heat Pump Filter builds on its popular first iteration, offering a greater 17.3 KV value that outperforms typical filters, ensuring virtually no pressure drop.

The IntaKlean is self-operating, using a large, ultra-fine 300 Micron mesh cartridge to catch magnetite and non-ferrous debris, preventing build-up and reducing the risk of heat pump breakdown. A notable upgrade is its built-in isolation point, removing the need for additional ball valves, while a manual air vent allows trapped air to be quickly purged from the system.

The IntaKlean Heat Pump Filter is available in 35mm with 28mm reducing sets as standard, with an optional insulation jacket to improve efficiency and protect against heat loss. Its drain valve at the base is easily operated, featuring a replaceable double ‘O’ ring seal for reliable servicing - giving installers better leak prevention and less chance of call-backs.

Its launch comes at an opportune time, allowing merchants and installers to stock their shelves and vans for the peak winter period. Designed for operating pressures up to 6 bar and temperatures up to 70°C, the IntaKlean Heat Pump Filter is built for the demands of modern heat pump systems.
