Reeves captures The King on film for a new West Midlands Lieutenancy explainer

HIs Majesty King Charles III with Lord Lieutenant of the West Midlands Derrick Anderson CBE

Reeves has produced a new short film for the West Midlands Lieutenancy, featuring footage of His Majesty The King, and giving viewers a clear, human view of what the Lieutenancy actually does and why it matters.

You can watch here.

Most people recognise the title “Lord-Lieutenant”, but not everyone knows what sits behind it. The film explains the role of the Lord-Lieutenant, Derrick Anderson CBE, as His Majesty The King’s personal representative in the West Midlands, and shows the moments the Lieutenancy supports across our seven boroughs, from Royal visits and citizenship ceremonies to honours nominations, The King’s Awards for Voluntary Service, The King’s Awards for Enterprise, and support for the armed forces and cadet organisations.

Designed for organisations preparing for a visit, as well as anyone curious about how civic life works behind the scenes, the film brings together real footage from events and ceremonies across the region, alongside contributions from Deputy Lieutenants.

The West Midlands Lieutenancy serves: Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
